Refreshing August Drink Recipe Strawberry Nectarine Rosé Sangria

August 13, 2026 by Jenn Carter

Built for easy large-batch pouring, this strawberry nectarine rosé sangria celebrates the fresh flavors of late summer. Juicy strawberries and ripe nectarines are layered with fragrant mint, crisp rosé wine, and a gentle splash of vodka, creating a drink that’s bright, floral, and beautifully balanced. Fresh, colorful, and endlessly sippable, it’s a seasonal standout for August gatherings and catered events.

(Serves 10-12)

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 cup vodka

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled or halved (if large)

2 cups sliced nectarine

2 bottles (750ml) dry rosé wine

Fresh mint, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large pitcher, toss the strawberries, nectarines, and sugar together.
  2. Pour in the vodka, stir gently, and chill in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours to let the fruit soak.
  3. When ready to serve, pour in the chilled rosé wine.
  4. Stir gently, garnish with fresh mint, and serve over ice.

Want to ensure everyone on your guest list can join in on the fun? It is easy to turn this into a family-friendly, zero-proof cooler. Simply swap out the rosé and vodka for sparkling white grape juice and a splash of club soda. You keep the bright fruit flavors and bubbly finish without the alcohol.

(Serves 10-12)

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled or halved

2 cups sliced nectarine

2 bottles (750ml) sparkling white grape juice

1 cup club soda or sparkling water

Fresh mint, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large pitcher, mix the strawberries, nectarines, and sugar.
  2. Let it sit in the fridge for about an hour so the natural fruit juices release.
  3. Just before serving, top with the sparkling white grape juice and club soda.
  4. Give it a gentle stir, garnish with mint, and serve immediately over ice.

About Jenn Carter

Meet Jenn Carter, whose love of Rocklands spans more than three decades and made her love official in 2005 when she joined the Rocklands family as a Sales Rep in their Catering Department. There she worked with the team to create events: from intimate backyard gatherings to high-profile political fundraisers. Making sure every client’s event featured both Rocklands’ legendary barbecue and impeccable service. Though life has taken her from DC to Japan, to New Mexico, Tennessee and now to Oklahoma, where she lives with her husband Michael, son Jackson, and pup Francis, you’ll still find bottles of Rocklands Barbecue Sauce making their way to her doorstep. Some loves know no distance.
