We Handle the Hard Stuff

Pig roasts aren’t for the faint of heart. There’s fire, timing, and a lot of heavy lifting involved. That’s why we take care of every detail. Our catering team arrives with the whole pig, beautifully roasted and resting on a wooden board, ready to be carved right in front of your guests. All you do is pick the spot and watch your guests light up.

The Main Event: The Pig Roast

Every pig we serve is sourced for quality, smoked low and slow over real wood. Depending on the size, they can be in the smoker anywhere from 5-12hrs. When it’s time, our staff will carefully carve and serve the meat fresh for each guest, making sure every bite is as juicy as the first. 

A personal recommendation from one of our best, is that the juiciest part is back in the haunches, the thickest part of the pig. It’s also where we take the temperature.

Meet Jenn Carter, whose love of Rocklands spans more than three decades and made her love official in 2005 when she joined the Rocklands family as a Sales Rep in their Catering Department. There she worked with the team to create events: from intimate backyard gatherings to high-profile political fundraisers. Making sure every client’s event featured both Rocklands’ legendary barbecue and impeccable service. Though life has taken her from DC to Japan, to New Mexico, Tennessee and now to Oklahoma, where she lives with her husband Michael, son Jackson, and pup Francis, you’ll still find bottles of Rocklands Barbecue Sauce making their way to her doorstep. Some loves know no distance.
