We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rocklands Catering and the incredible job they did for my husband’s 50th birthday party last April. From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to turn our backyard into a festive, cozy BBQ party space that was perfect for celebrating such a special milestone.
Planning a sit-down event for 30+ people in a backyard can be a logistical challenge, but Rocklands made it feel effortless. They helped us think through every detail, from table placement to seating arrangements, ensuring that everyone had a comfortable spot while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their expertise in transforming spaces is truly impressive—it felt like our backyard had been magically upgraded into the perfect party venue!
The food, of course, was absolutely phenomenal. We went all out and ordered the full roasted pig, which was finalized in a tent in our front yard and then beautifully displayed during the party. It was such a show-stopping centerpiece and a huge hit with our guests! As always, Rocklands delivered on all the other food items as well. The pulled chicken, wings, and sides like potato salad, collard greens, mac and cheese, and cucumber salad were all delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor.
But what really stood out was the service. The Rocklands team was professional, friendly, and so attentive to every detail. They made the entire process stress-free and fun, allowing us to truly enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics. Their creativity, hard work, and dedication turned what could have been a simple backyard gathering into an unforgettable event.

When organizing such a large event, it is important for the planner to have a great relationship with the catering company. I felt 100% comfortable the entire planning process and knew what to expect from beginning to end. At the conclusion of the event, they offered leftovers for the remaining food and cleaned up, wonderfully at the end. Of course, the ribs and macaroni and cheese were the absolute favorites! The brisket was sliced to perfection and tender to eat. The amount of seasoning on all other food across the board was perfection! Thank you so much to Rocklands and we will definitely be using them again.
