Six years ago, we had a modest springtime event to help Doorways for Women and Families, an amazing Arlington group that offers a safe haven and a way forward for at-risk women and families. We’ve been doing that event ever since.
Want to be part of it? Come to our Sixth Annual Shed Your Coat benefit for Doorways, April 17 at Rocklands Arlington. The fun starts at 5:30 and goes until 7:30, which will give you time to make a dent in a half-dozen oysters, smoked pork pulled off a whole pig, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
We’re donating all of said food, beer and non-alcoholic beverages, so 100% of your ticket price goes to support Doorways. Great raffle prizes will round out an evening of fun and good works on the patio. Buy your tickets online here, and get some raffle tickets too (we’ll have more on site).
