When most people think about accessibility in restaurants, the conversation usually stops at ramps or maybe making sure the restrooms are wheelchair-friendly. That’s a good start, but at Rocklands, we believe true hospitality means going further. To us, it’s about making sure every guest, no matter who they are or how they navigate the world, feels comfortable, respected, and at home from the minute they arrive to the moment they scan the menu.
A Menu for All Eyes, Ensuring Visual Accessibility
Food should be enjoyed by everyone, and that starts with the menu. At Rocklands, we know that reading a menu can be a challenge for guests with visual impairments, so we’ve taken steps to open up our menu to all.
Braille and Large Print Menus
We’re committed to serving our blind and low-vision guests with dignity. At all of our locations, we offer menus in Braille and large print, allowing guests to order with confidence and independence. If you need a Braille or large print menu, just ask a member of our staff, we’re happy to help. If your location doesn’t have one on hand, let us know; we’re always looking for ways to improve, and expanding these services is a priority for us.
Online Menu Accessibility
Planning your meal ahead of time? Our online menu is optimized for screen readers, so you can browse at home using assistive technology. Digital accessibility isn’t a box we check, it’s ongoing work, and we invite your feedback to help us get it right.

A Warm Welcome for Neighbors and Travelers
Not everyone who walks through our doors grew up speaking English, and that’s something we celebrate. Good food is a universal language, and we want to make it easy for everyone to feel at home.
The Visual Menu
We feature high-quality photos of our dishes both in-house and online. Pictures make ordering easier for guests who may not speak English as their first language, and give everyone, from international travelers to local kids, a clear idea of what to expect on their plate.
Translated Menus
While our primary menu is in English, we’re committed to making Rocklands more welcoming for visitors from around the globe. We’re excited to announce that we now have translated online menus in Spanish, French, and German, and more. We encourage guests to ask for assistance. If a translated menu would make your visit better, let us know! Our goal is to serve you in the language that feels most comfortable.
A Staff That Cares
Our team is made up of folks who’ve been with us for years and understand that hospitality means patience and kindness. Whether you need help understanding the menu, have dietary restrictions, or just want a recommendation, we’re here for you.

Comfort and Care in Our Locations Beyond the Menu
Accessibility shouldn’t end at the menu. We’ve built our spaces so you can navigate them with ease, whether you’re rolling in with a stroller, using a wheelchair, or just need a little extra room.
Physical Accessibility
All Rocklands locations feature wheelchair ramps, accessible restrooms, and seating designed to accommodate everyone. Our doorways are at least 32 inches wide, and we have accessible tables and service counters. Designated parking spots are available, and we’re always happy to help if you need assistance getting from your car to your seat.
Sensory Considerations
For guests with sensory sensitivities—whether you are on the spectrum, have anxiety, or just prefer a quieter setting, just give us a call. We can recommend off-peak dining times or quieter seating areas so you can enjoy your meal in comfort.
Our Well-Trained Family
Hospitality is more than a training manual at Rocklands, it’s our culture. Many of our staff have been with us for years, and we treat each other (and our guests) like family. That means we’re proactive about helping every guest, whether that’s reading menu options aloud, carrying trays, or just offering a welcoming smile.
Fully ADA-Compliant
We don’t just meet the legal requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act—we aim to exceed them. If there’s anything we can do to make your visit smoother, let us know.

Your Feedback Helps Us Grow
Accessibility isn’t a one-and-done project; it’s something we’re always working on. If you have suggestions for how we can make Rocklands even more welcoming, we want to hear from you. Your feedback helps us serve our community better, and we’re grateful for every idea you share.
