Four Sandwiches You Gotta Try This Month

So we sound like BuzzFeed, right? “Five Ways Your Cat Shows She Cares.” But seriously, you DO have to try these four sandwiches this month…because we only HAVE them for this month.

Why? Because August is National Sandwich Month. We came up with four special sandwiches just to celebrate.

We’re more than halfway through, too, but if sales tell us anything, you have already found the sandwiches (that Pulled Chicken Rustico was a hit, wasn’t it?).

This week is Pit Beef Caliente — pepperoncini and onions add tangy heat to barbeque pit beef topped with American cheese.

And starting August 24, we’ll have the grand finale: Blue Ribbon Chicken, filet of chicken topped with sliced tomatoes, ham and Swiss, all melted together and served with honey-mustard.

You’ll find these special sandwiches on the Blue-Plate Specials board at every Rocklands…but only for August.
