Some of you know that we have fishing in our blood here: When we’re not smoking pork, we’re casting a line. This past Monday, a large Rocklands crew set out at oh-dawn-thirty for the Chesapeake Bay. We pulled our sleepy selves up to the dock, got in the boat, and went in search of rockfish.
By 10:30, we had ALL caught our limits. What a morning! We were pulling in the big ones as fast as we could.
What that meant, of course, is that SOMEONE was cooking rockfish on Monday afternoon or evening. Luckily, John had just talked to Walter Nicholls, and Walter had wangled the best rockfish recipe out of John for his article in The Georgetowner. So all we had to do was make sure that everyone on the boat had a copy of that perfect Rocklands Rockfish with Creamy Leeks recipe.
And now you have it too.
